I tend Withywood Farm with the help of my family. We enjoy different aspects of regenerative farming in our spare time. The rich soil and biodiversity here are the result of decades of care by my mother, who worked with this land’s natural cycles and microclimates for the last half century.

Owls, foxes, native bees, lizards, and a host of native fauna help keep everything in balance.

With clean water and mindful care, our crops thrive naturally—without pesticides, dependence on refrigeration, or long-distance shipping.

Things I like to do:
-
Garden on raised beds with minimal digging thereafter
-
Make and use nettle and comfrey amendments
-
Propagate plants through cuttings, seed germination, division, and grafting
-
Conserve water by encouraging deep root growth
-
Create habitat for native butterflies, amphibians, birds, reptiles, and mammals
-
Bring people joy with flowers, herbs, and good food
